Al Qaryan Steel Company was formed in KSA, Dammam in 2012 between Al Qaryan Group (75%) and Al Wabel for Trading and Industry (25%). The first facility of the company was a billet steel plant started the operation on March 2017. The 300,000 t/y of steel billets steel plant built on technology and equipment supplied from SMS Concast. The facilities include four induction furnaces from ABP, a ladle furnace, a continuous billet caster and ancillary equipment. The company target the re-rolling of rebars, sections and wire rod in the local and regional markets.
